FAQ



1. What payment methods can I use?
The Kashmir Company accepts the following methods of payment for purchases:
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal, American Express
, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Online gift certificates and Wire Transfer.

Important information about payment: Your credit card will not be charged until your order ships. If you are using a debit or check card for payment, however, the funds will immediately be deducted from your account.
For personal checks and money orders, your order will be shipped only after encashment of the payment.

2. When will my order ship?
The Kashmir Company endeavors to ship purchases within 48 hours of receiving your order. Each address you instruct us to ship to, including gift-recipient addresses, is considered a separate order and is subject to applicable shipping charges. Delivery schedules are estimated. Actual delivery times may vary depending on shipping locations. When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing.

3. When will my order be delivered?
Pending order verification and credit approval, orders placed prior to noon Pacific time and shipping to the address listed with your credit card company as your official billing address will arrive as specified above. Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days. Standard Ground: within 3 to 8 business days 3-Business-Day: within 3 business days 2-Business-Day: within 2 business days.

4. What does it cost to ship my order?
Shipping rates are calculated according to the purchase value of your order. Sometimes we offer free shipping promotions whereby the shipping rates will change.

5. Do you ship outside the continental United States?
Our online store can process orders placed from or shipped to locations around the world. For US territories, APO and FPO addresses please send us an email at Sales@KashmirCompany.com. Customers outside the US who are not able to place order online can send us an email at sales@KashmirCompany.com with Product SKU# and quantity. We will get back to you within 48 hrs with the shipping rate and any other details requested.

6. By which carrier will my order be shipped?
We ship via FedEx, UPS and USPS.

7. What if I change my mind after my order is placed?
Once an order is placed and confirmed at The Kashmir Company, you cannot make changes online. For assistance please send an email to support@KashmirCompany.com.

8. What if I am not pleased with my selection? Can I return the purchase?
As long as the purchase was made within the time frame specified below and the item has not been used or worn, you may return your order. Please use original Kashmir packaging for all returns. Merchandise purchased and returned within 14 days will be credited in the original tender or merchandise credit, if accompanied by original sales receipt . After 14 days, sale product is not eligible for return credit.

9. What will it cost me to make a return or exchange?
If your return is a result of error on our part (products received damaged or incorrect order fulfillment), we will refund all shipping charges on receipt of product and verification of the condition stated. If your return is NOT a result of error on our part, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. We will issue your refund only after the returned merchandise reaches us in the condition stated above. You should insure the parcel when sending back to us. All returns should reach us within 14 days of purchase. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.

10. Will my order be taxed?
Applicable sales tax will be included on all orders based on shipping address. We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of gift certificates; however, items paid for with gift certificates will be taxed.

11. I live outside the United States. Can I order from The Kashmir Company?
Our online store can process orders placed from or shipped to locations around the world. For US territories, APO and FPO addresses please send us an email at Sales@KashmirCompany.com. Customers outside the US who are not able to place order online can send us an email at sales@KashmirCompany.com with Product SKU# and quantity. We will get back to you within 48 hrs with the shipping rate and any other details requested.

12. What do I do if my item arrives damaged?
Customer satisfaction is our goal at The Kashmir Company. Please send email to support@KashmirCompany.com and we will respond back within 48 hrs. Also see FAQ 8 and 9.

13. Can I see a record of my transactions with The Kashmir Company?
By registering with us, you can check your order status online through the Order History area of your User Profile. All of the details regarding past purchases will be conveniently stored for you in an organized listing. You can also check the status of an order placed with The Kashmir Company by sending us an email at support@KashmirCompany.com.

14. How long does it take to process my return?
Please allow 10 to 12 business days for us to receive and process your return. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing. We are not able to issue credit until your return package has been received and processed.

15. What kind of packaging options to Kashmir Company have?
All Kashmir products are delivered in luxurious custom made Kashmir Company packaging – ready for gift giving or as elegant storage bags. Products from the Seasons Collections arrive in beautiful custom made bags/boxes with the Kashmir logo on top and Dynasty Rugs arrive in custom made rug bags/boxes.

16. Can I have a package delivered on Saturday?
We do not offer Saturday delivery at this time.

17. What if I need help making a selection? Do you have a personal shopping service?
